New HTC phones to launch this year, no HTC 11?
Last year, HTC released about a dozen of smartphones but did not attract a lot of media attention as well as smartphone users around the world. In this 2017, HTC will continue launching some devices and HTC 11 is said to be one of them. HTC 11 has been leaked online several times recently and kinda surprise all of us because of its powerful processor and some integrated interesting features as well.
In terms of HTC 11 specs, it offers up to 8GB RAM, powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. Moreover, this handset comes with a 2K display and a dual main camera. HTC 11 is also a reason why HTC smartphones are highly expected to make a revolution in 2017. However, some sources of information said that HTC 11 is not in the list of upcoming HTC phones this year.
According to Mr. Chialin Chang, President of HTC, the company will release six to seven phones this year. It means HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play are two of them, and we can only see four to five new smartphones coming in 2017. When asked about HTC 11, Chialin Chang said that the device won’t be named like that. For further details, he did not provide any. In addition, he also confirmed that HTC will keep the Desire series for people who love “fun and affordable” phones.
