Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus expanded its Zenfone 3 series with the new 3S Max. Since yesterday it is available in India. The ZenFone 3s Max comes in an aluminum metal body with sandblasted matte finish. It also sports a 5.2-inch HD display and a front-facing fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the home button. The phone is nicely weighted and is 8.85mm in thickness.
Spec-wise, it is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 mobile processor and features 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card. Additionally, the company has decided to provide this handset with Android Nougat, Android’s latest operating system that has many advantages.
In terms of photography, this phone will do a good job with a 13MP main shooter with laser autofocus, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. Also, the selfie snapper will provide fun with features like low-light, HDR, and beautification. But the phone’s main selling point is the powerful 5000mAh battery that keeps the lights on all the day. According to the company, it provides up to 34 days of standby time on 4G, 28 hours of talk time on 3G, 18 hours of video playback and 25 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing.
